This position requires an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to multi-task.

The Director of Foundation Relations reports directly to CED's President and the Senior Vice President for Communications and Outreach. Responsibilities include writing foundation proposals, developing relationships within the foundation community, and identifying new sources of revenue. CED is also seeking an individual who possesses marketing skills in areas such as internet fundraising, membership programs, and planned giving.

CED is a respected, non-profit policy organization dedicated to addressing the critical economic and social issues facing American society.

CED's Board of Trustees includes the CEOs of major companies and Presidents of many of the country's most prestigious academic institutions. CED Trustees work with a national constituency of business and academic leaders on a broad range of issues relating to educational excellence, long-term economic growth, corporate governance, money and politics, globalization, health care, e-commerce and others.
