
Internships

The Committee for Economic Development (CED), a nonpartisan think tank, has research internships available on a year-round basis in Washington, DC. Research interns are given professional-level assignments and assist staff in the projects they are currently working on. A stipend of up to $1,000 may be available to interns. Intern duties include internet and library research, spreadsheet work, writing, and attending Congressional hearings and other events.
Successful applicants will have a major or minor in economics or related social science, as well as strong analytical skills (e.g, introductory statistics). Knowledge of public policy issues is strongly recommended. International students are welcome to apply but are required to possess an appropriate F-1 or J-1 visa.
