Research Associate



The Committee for Economic Development (CED), a public policy "think-tank" in Washington, D.C., is seeking a new or recent college graduate for a full-time Research Associate position to work on economic policy studies, including domestic and international issues.

Duties include policy analysis, library research, data retrieval, drafting background papers and brief reports, preparing computer graphics and attending Congressional hearings and meetings with other public policy organizations. Strong training in policy analysis and/or economics, excellent writing skills, and proficiency with computers and the Internet are required. Training in basic statistics preferred. CED Research Associates are normally new or very recent graduates who pursue further education or more senior analyst positions elsewhere after two or three years of experience at CED.
