2012 Annual Dinner

On Monday, November 12, 2012, The Committee for Economic Development (CED) hosted its annual 2012 Distinguished Performance Awards Dinner in New York, NY at the Plaza Hotel. The event honored CED Trustees, business executives from various industries for their leadership in corporate citizenship, workplace diversity, Trustee leadership and more. Those honored were Alan Mulally, President and CEO, Ford Motor Company; Wes Bush, Chairman, President, and CEO, Northrop Grumman; Carl Camden, President and CEO, Kelly Services; Richard Edelman, President and CEO, Edelman; Jeffrey Joerres, Chairman and CEO, Manpower Group; and Bruce MacLaury, President Emeritus, The Brookings Institution.

The Awards Dinner marked CED's 70th year as a business-led, nonpartisan public policy organization that for nearly a century has championed sound policy and advocacy to promote sustained economic growth and development.

As part of the Annual Awards Dinner, CED also held its annual Executive Committee and P & I meetings.
