CED Partners with Committee of 100 Louisiana to Promote Postsecondary Education in Baton Rouge

On Wednesday, May 15, CED will partner with the Committee of 100 Louisiana to host a special Higher Education Summit in Baton Rouge.

The Summit will kick-off with opening remarks from Dr. Jim Purcell, Commissioner of Higher Education - Louisiana Board of Regents, a keynote speech from CED’s CEO, Steve Odland, and follow with a panel including:

  • Dr. Joe May - President, Louisiana Community & Technical College System
  • Dr. Ronald Mason, Jr. - President, Southern University System
  • Dr. Sandra Woodley - President, University of Louisiana System
  • Dr. William Jenkins - Interim President, Louisiana State University System

CED is working to help build stronger connections between postsecondary education institutions and the American business community in order to drive the needed structural reforms throughout this vital sector of American education.
