The Autonomous Board: A Memo by CED Trustee and Sodali Chairman John C. Wilcox

CED Trustee and Chairman of Sodali, John C. Wilcox, has recently issued his company's 2014 Client Memo, The Autonomous Board.  It describes trends and challenges that will face boards of directors in 2014, complete with recommendations.  "These trends point to one conclusion," states John.  "Boards must be more transparent and more willing to communicate with shareholders.  Companies can no longer rely on director credentials and compliance with governance norms to convince shareholders that the board is functioning effectively."  The memo by John can be read here.
