Providing Quality, Affordable
Health Care for America’s Seniors
Monday, June 6, 2016
Noon — 1:30 PM
2322 Rayburn House Office Building
- Sean Glass, Chairman and CEO, Advantia Health
- Joseph Minarik, Senior Vice President and Director of Research, Committee for Economic Development
Always at the forefront of policy proposals to curb rising health care costs, the Committee for Economic Development (CED) will present a detailed set of recommendations to address the urgent need to reform the U.S. health care system for seniors.
CED believes one solution to allow market forces and consumer choice to begin to re-shape our health care industry is to provide beneficiaries with refundable and advanceable tax credits that could be used only to purchase health insurance coverage.
Please join us to learn more about CED’s data-driven policy recommendations to fully mobilize the beneficial forces of competition to achieve universal coverage while maintaining the quality of and access to Medicare coverage.
