CEAL Conference on Early Childhood Education Advocacy

On April 11,2012 CED, in partnership with CEAL, a non-profit network of business leaders from Latin America, hosted a day-long early childhood education conference for an intimate discussion about early childhood education advocacy.

CED hosted the summit at its D.C. headquarters, which convened 20 business leaders for an intimate discussion highlighting the global, national and regional business view of early childhood education efforts, business engagement in early childhood education, and CED's newest early childhood education policy report: Unfinished Business: Continued Investment in Child Care and Early Education is Critical to Business and America's Future. The event featured remarks from Michael Renvillard, Senior Manager, Care for Education, LEGO Foundation; Tana Ebole, CEO of the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County; Alberto Pfeifer, Executive Director of CEAL; and Michael Petro, Executive Vice President at CED, among others.

The event was part of CED's long-standing effort to promote early childhood education. For more information on CED's early education advocacy efforts click here.
