Postsecondary Education Performance

        California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom

An invitation to the event can be accessed here

In collaboration with Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, the Committee for Economic Development (CED) will be hosting a forum on its recent report, Boosting California’s Postsecondary Education Performance.  The report examines the condition of California’s postsecondary education and addresses such issues including: major demographic shifts in school- and working-age Californians; state-based opportunities in education and training; projected shortages of workers with education and training beyond high school; and financial impediments for students and families.

Along with the Lieutenant Governor, the forum will include remarks from Lenny Mendonca, a CED Trustee and former Director of McKinsey & Company, followed by a panel discussion featuring leaders from California’s business and education community.

Please RSVP to Joseph DiBlasi by March 26th at jdiblasi@ced.org or by phone at 202-469-7824.
