Poll Shows New York Business Leaders Want State Campaign Finance Reform

On October 25, 2012 the Committee for Economic Development (CED) and the Brennan Center for Justice announced results of a Zogby Analytics poll commissioned by CED that demonstrated broad support among New York business leaders for reforming the state's campaign finance system. Poll results were announced during a media briefing call led by Michael J. Petro, Acting President at Committee for Economic Development, Lawrence Norden, Deputy Director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, and Chad Bohnert, Chief Marketing Officer at Zogby Analytics.
