Tom Davis joined CED in September of 2016 as their Director of Business Development.  As part of CED’s development team, he is responsible for the day-to-day business development functions of CED. Tom also serves as the key contact person for implementing CED’s integrated membership strategy, including program and financial priorities, member research, partnerships and event sponsorships.

Tom has over 9 years of professional experience strategically developing membership based organizations. Prior to CED, he spent time much of his career with SnowSports Industries America (SIA) trade association where he successfully built and managed a program of over 360 member companies, while providing them with year-round research and consulting services; specifically concentrating on market strategies. Prior to SIA, Tom worked in a corporate sales and consulting role at Hanover Research, a global information services firm providing knowledge support to both for-profit and non-profit organizations. His primary focus was channeling Hanover's custom reporting to drive key business decisions for client organizations in the manufacturing and retail space.

He is a graduate of Drew University having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Music composition. While studying, Tom had the honor of working as the research assistant to the Drew University Economics Department Chair, Dr. Nora Colton.

A Shenandoah Valley native, he now resides in Virginia.
